Privacy

This is a static site. It has no accounts, no forms that send us data, and we do not build a profile of you ourselves. It does use one third-party analytics tag, described below.

What we collect

• Nothing you type. The pages are static: no search box, no forms, no comment field.
• No accounts. There is no sign-in and no newsletter field.
• Aggregate page views. Google Analytics counts which pages are read. SeeCookies and analytics.
• Standard server logs. The site is served by a hosting provider, which keeps ordinary request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse handling.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement IDG-F9TRE2TGZC) to count page views: which pages get read, and roughly where visitors arrive from. It sets its own cookies and is operated by Google underGoogle's privacy policy.

The analytics tag is added only after the page has finished loading, so it never blocks a render. You can block it with any content blocker, or by blocking cookies for this site, and every page still works.

Advertising

Display advertising may fund the archive in future. If an ad network is added, it will set its own cookies, and its privacy policy will be named here before it goes live.

Third parties in the page

Google Analytics is the only third party left on the page (described above). The typeface is served from this site, so reading a page does not contact a font host. Everything else (HTML, CSS, fonts and images) is served from this site.
